My wife and I drove an hour and half to the McMinnville Toyota dealership only to arrive to be told the vehicle we were interested in was already sold. I asked why he didn't call and let us know. Then the salesman goes and talks to someone then came out with the keys and said actually it's not completed. He hands us the keys and we take it for a spin. The vehicle smelled gross and while test driving we saw another truck and decided let's just look and see. While I was inspecting the test drive my wife tells me she likes the other truck. I didn't think the Toyota dealership was going to treat us any better because they seemed shady. We took the truck back and said no thanks! We beat feet to Lums and the sales team were professional and just a great group to work with. My wife and I were treated like royalty here and we were in and out headed home in less than three hours from start to finish. We also were given dinner ideas which turned out to be the best carne asada tacos from any restaurant I've ever been too. Christina was amazing and great person to work with during the financial portion. This team made us feel like family from start to finish. I'm so glad we came here for our buying experience. We recently purchased a used Ford F-150 from Alex Reed a couple days ago. We live in Vancouver and spent the entire day at another dealership in Vancouver that was about 3 minutes away from our home. We were there for hours and I didn’t understand why the salesman was keeping us there for hours on end making us offers that we could never afford. As I was sitting in that other dealership I searched for a F-150 on car gurus and a upgraded truck at Lum’s came up for $5,000 cheaper. We ended up just walking away from the other dealership as it was too exhausting at that point. Got home, emailed Lum’s- got a phone call from Alex within minutes! Alex was so awesome, I explained to him the situation of what had happened, told him exactly what I wanted to pay per month and what we had to put down! He requested me to email him a couple documents and within an hour had an offer for me that was amazing! Our monthly payment ended up being about $150 less then I told him we could afford. He even told me they would wait for us that same night! We made the 2 hour drive to Warrenton and arrived at the dealership at about 8:30 pm. Alex was not pushy at all, he was understanding of what happened to us and it was an amazing experience! He couldn’t have made it any easier for us! Iam just so happy I searched on car gurus that day and found Lum’s Auto center and Alex! We are forever grateful for our awesome truck and plan to return when we are ready for our next one! Lums was absolutely amazing to deal with. Easiest car buying experience I’ve ever had. Jon was great he was no pressure, I told him what I could afford and he made it happen. Didn’t have to play the back and forth game. Michelle in finance was great to deal with and super friendly. My car shopping experience was a nightmare till I called these guys.

Alex made buying a car a wonderful experience. He made sure that pre approval for the loan was done the night before and shortly after the time I got back from the test drive I was approved. That was the fastest time ever getting a loan. If you want person that listens to you and what you want then be sure to ask for Alex; he will go that extra mile for you.

Where do I start? Do I start with how much I hate the process of buying a new truck? The thought of unbelievably high payments? How about the slimy feel of car salesmen? I could, but then I would not be talking about the experience I had at Lum's over the weekend. On Saturday I bought a brand new 2019 Tacoma...and it was painless! No pressure, no slimy feel, no stress over high payments. My salesperson, Chris, was more than willing to work with me and put me in the truck I wanted. He was very easy to work with, as was everyone there. I kid you not. This is my 6th Tacoma, and the second one I have bought from Lum's. I'd be nuts to go elsewhere, which I have, and I regretted it. They clearly have a ton of customers, so make sure to schedule your maintenance and expect delays. They offer free wifi, so the extra wait is probably not that bad, knowing that we all come armed with cellphones, tablets or even laptops (yes! you could work remotely from the waiting area).
Hands-down the best dealership service I’ve ever been given Mario was there to make sure I was happy with my purchase without trying to force more money out of me. The financial manager and floor manager was very Accommodating making a 3 Hour Dr. and staying after close to make sure I had the vehicle that I truly wanted have already recommended multiple friends to ensure they have the best experience in purchasing a vehicle thank you very much you guys are awesome!
