Safety Tech Since the 2021 Highlander has the Toyota Safety Sense 2.5+ suite, it comes standard with forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, lane trace assist, adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition, rear-seat reminder, automatic high beams, and a rearview camera. Available features include blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, a surround-view parking camera system, adaptive headlights, front and rear parking sensors, rain-sensing windshield wipers, a rearview mirror camera, and a heads-up display. Comfort and Convenience When it comes to comfort and convenience features, proximity keyless entry and tri-zone automatic climate control are standard.
